“If I order this phone as an upgrade on a "standard" Verizon account, will it come with a Verizon sim, and how difficult is this to activate, including transfer of contacts, texts, pictures, etc.? Thanks!”

Just pop out and swap Sim Cards. That what I did for my husband's phone. We always buy unlocked phones and just switch sims. Never an issue.
