No, Best Buy can activate it for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a stupid question. In the past I have bought a phone in Best Buy and we had difficulty at the store, when the Best Buy person tried to activate. Then later on, the phone go disconnected and I had toi go back and forth between Verizon and Best Buy. Verizon was horrible. The Best Buy guys were helpful, but we had to wait long time holding for Verizon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not need to bring to Verizon to activate the device. You should be able to swap out your SIM card (as long as they are the same size) and phone should be activated. If you have any issues, agents at Best Buy can assist.
