Yes, IF its unlocked AND your phone service says its compatible with the particular phone you wanna purchase. My husband purchased this for his T-mobile phone service and the sim card was taken out of the old phone and put into the Motorola - Moto X64GB phone. By the way, he still has that old "pay as you go" service. The Best Buy phone sales employee is who physically replaced the sim card. My husband is happy. Watch out though, some Best Buy employees will tell you it costs $40 for this service. It costed us $0.

You can use your sim card from other android phones but please be advised that you should have a Nano Sim Card cause that will be the size of sim card that fits in the phone. In case you need further support, please email us at supportforums@motorola.com to further assist you. - Frank
