“Why is there no support for Band 17 (AT&T) on this phone? AT&T relies heavily on that band, the phone will not function properly in most areas. What is going on here? The Motorola website itself is selling a GSM unlocked version that does support Band 17.”

It supports LTE band 17. It was mentioned on the box. I got it yesterday and its working just fine. On Best Buy and Motorola website its bad copy paste job from Moto Z Droid.
