“Has anyone successfully used the hotspot on Cricket? Also, I don't seem to have the option of 5G. I have upgraded my Cricket account to include both. But they tell me this phone doesn't have hotspot capabilities and glossed over the 5G question.”

This phone has a Hotspot facility available, and I am using it with Consumer Cellular and it is working great even with 5G speed, but I guess you have to give a call to Cricket and ask them to enable Hotspot / Tethering at their end for you, after that you should be able to enable hotspot on your phone as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know the phone has Hotspot capabilities and can connect to 5G towers, but, my carrier is AT&T. Cricket uses the same GSM Network, so you would think it would connect. I must say that I notice the 5G symbol on the top right corner of the phone a lot less than my daughter does on her iPhone.
