• Yes, I use mine outdoors, under my porch fully exposed to all the elements (but still it's covered by the over hang of my porch) I do live in northern California, no snow, only rain & mild 65ish year round temps maybe 30° lowest

• Yes to your question. As long as there is plenty of light in that direction it will pickup images and record them
