QuestionI have a 32" monitor (within the weight limit). Am I able to mount this with a smaller (probably 24inch) monitor mounted vertically? Ik it says 30 inch but I figure my setup will be less distance than two horizontal 30" inch displays

- Answer That WAS my plan too but my desk - which is an Ergotron Standing Desk, isn't compatible with this Mount - as the center of the desk has the mechanism to make it stand. NO PLACE to attach the monitor for me. Seems like you can make that work.

- Answer Yes if the VESA measurements match and the weight doesn't exceed the guidelines. Each arm of the MI-4762 monitor mount can support up to 17.6 lbs.

- Answer Yep, you definitely can. I have 2 32" monitors up side-by-side. I do not have them with "no space" between because my monitors are angled slightly down. But the top inner corners of the 2 monitors are touching, the bottom inner corners are a little less than 1" apart. But if I wanted, I can re-angled the 2 monitors so that they get positioned side by side completely. May be slightly hard to get perfect alignment, but do-able if you have enough patience. :)

QuestionMy desk has a support beam about 1/2" inwards from the edge of my desk, which then is an additional 3/4". Will I need to worry about the mount clearing that 1.25" to mount to the bottom of the actual desk top, rather than partially on the support beam?

- Answer Dear Customer, both the clamp and grommet installation options need to make full contact with a flat surface whether its the support beam or the table top. If the is not enough surface to support the weight of the mount plus the monitors it might result in damage. QuestionWhat is the max desk thickness the clamp can accommodate?

- Answer There is a steel bracket that is approximately 3" thick that slides over the back of the desk. The bracket that screws inside the bottom for tightening the mount to the desk is maybe 1/2" so I would say you could use it on a top that is 2 1/2" to 3" thick comfortably. You would need it to be able to slide in horizontally at least 2" as well. There is an option to drill through the desktop which I think could go much thicker, but I wasn't interested in having a hole in the desk.

QuestionWhen I first mounted my 25lb on the arm it worked great with no movement. Lately the monitor has started to tilt forward and no matter how much I try to tighten the arm it tilts. how can I fix this?

- Answer It is plenty sturdy to hold any typical monitor set, but I have two Samsung 30" curved monitors and they need a special rear adapter to make them work as they did not have the standard VESA rear mount (star shaped, 4-screws) that is the norm with most TV and computer monitors. I got two Gladiator Joe model GJ0A0115 adapters and they look to do the trick with the Samsungs. I'm setting everything up this weekend so I'll know then for sure, but the mount itself is top notch. My colleague used to say that standards are awesome, that must be why there's so many of them..." Hope that helps.
