The PS42 Modern keyboard is condensed to fit the form factor. It has no number pad, but the keys are large which make for very easy typing. The keyboard has white background illumination which makes all of the characters easy to read both in a well-lit or dark environment. The keys themselves are the same dark steel blue of the chassis, and the characters appear white in contrast. You can see the keyboard and more here: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/PS42-8RX
