- Answer If it is available in other stores, then yes. If you're looking for it and it does not say out of stock, then you can generally buy it and just have it shipped to a local store or ship directly to you.

- Answer Sorry for the other answer which was unreasonably rude. But yes it does require external power. It will require that your PSU has at least a six pin power supply. It is recommended that it is a 400 watt PSU at as a minimum but I am about to put it in a 350 or 375 system myself. There are some cards that do not require any external power, but they're generally going to be lower performance as well.

QuestionWill this card work with Windows 8.1? I didn't see a driver listed on MSI's website other than Win 10, 11, and 7. Thanks.

- Answer If there's not a driver listed for it, I wouldn't try it myself. Most of the games you try to play require it to have an updated driver. But if you're running Windows 8.1 you should be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. And in my personal experience, you'll do much better on Windows 10. It's currently the best operating system.
