• I personally haven't had any hinge issues in the 6 months that I've had this laptop. It just depends on how tight or loose the factory makes the hinges. If you happen to get loose enough hinges then you won't have any issues. If the highest are tight then they will end up breaking.

• I've had the laptop for a month so far. No hinge problems at all. But then again I have been very careful as If I was treating my laptop as a King.
