“10 percent reduced power in 5 minutes when running on battery. No program was open. This is not quite normal. Again, while no programs are running, both the battery and the laptop are overheating. the battery does not charge more than 93 percent.”

There a setting for your battery that stops your laptop’s battery from draining. It is to prolong the life of your battery. I had the same concern but was able to figure it out.
