The way in which it compares is that this machine is geared particularly towards gaming performance. That being said, it would still perform very adequately for other things such as photoshop, video editing, etc. But if you don't intend to use it at all for gaming, you aren't getting nearly what you paid for out of this particular build/notebook. If you are a gamer, I can highly recommend this laptop as a multi-purpose powerhouse.
