Does this have an optical drive?

Most laptops can't fit a bulky HDD inside and still maintain a reasonable size and weight. An external HDD is an option, but SSD's are about 6x's faster and around $100 a TB so I'm not sure why you wouldn't want one.

You can buy an external one and connect it through usb. No computer comes with a spinning hard drive these days. Best buy sells them for around 40$
