Depends on what you’re looking for. The screen size is 14 inches on the asus (120 hz) vs the MSI (144 hz +) which is 15. The Asus also doesn’t have a webcam. The MSI however has less battery life than the Asus which has around double the battery life (11 hours). The keyboard imo is better on the MSI because the Asus is only white light and the lighting isn't even. If you want performance go for the MSI because this one has a RTX 2060 not a 2060 max-q with the asus. The asus has an amd chip and this one has an intel so also go with your preference. Oh and the Asus has 1 tb not 512gb with the MSI. I went with the MSI because it has more power, a webcam, and a better display (way better response time Asus is 40 ms and MSI is 3ms) But if you travel and need something that can last hours without a charger go with the Asus either way you won’t be disappointed.

The MSI would perform better than the ASUS as long as the Intel chip doesn't overheat and thermal throttle, which if you have fans at max speed and buy this lower spec option, it should avoid it, but barely. Intel chips tend to be less power efficient and more prone to thermal throttling than the AMD chips like the one in the ASUS model. If you need to use your laptop in place of a workstation at all, get the ASUS, those 8 cores will perform much better than the 6 here. As for battery life, both are pretty good for gaming laptops, the ASUS does have the edge here but you could get similar results if you tweak your power settings when on battery which I advise you do with every laptop anyway. If all you're doing is gaming, the 2060 will beat the 2060 Max Q by 15% I believe, and the 10750H would beat the Ryzen 7 4800H if conditions are optimal.
