Q: QuestionSo why should I buy this instead of the HP Omen Gaming Laptop that Best Buy offers, which has similar specs but with a RTX 3070 instead of a 3060 for $200 less? Both brands are good, with HP having a lovely driver update system.

Q: QuestionSo i never owned a MSI laptop ever and I think my ASUS ROG laptop just died so I need a new one. How good are the GS66 series and is the 3060 a good jump from the 2070 max q variant. I need a webcam and microphone, is this laptop good enough ????
Asked by Gamer.
- A:Answer Yes very good jump. 3060 is stated to be >2070 Super. From reviews, I heard this series is excellent. Though it'll get hot as it's a thin and light gaming device. Find the online guides to repaste and undervolt and you'll be golden. I also heard speakers are ok and it's a fingerprint magnet. though always compromises when it comes to things like this.

Q: QuestionI was curious if this version being the RTX 3060 will be more powerful then the RTX 2070 version. The reason why I ask is because the RTX 3060 model will have only 6GB of GDDR6 video memory where as the RTX 2070 model has 8GB of GDDR6 video memory.
Asked by RTX2070vs3060GPU.
- A:Answer Nvidia says the 3060s is on par or faster than the 2070 Super. The 2070 max Q in this laptop can be worse than a 2060 115W. From the info I gather: RTX 2060 < 2070 MQ < 2060 Refresh 115W < 2070 < 2070 Super Max Q < 2070 Super < 3060. The only concern is the thermals in this laptop with newer more powerful hardware. 6GB is plenty for 1080P. video memory isn't everything. my desktop 3080 has less VRAM than a 2080Ti but it still performs leagues better. 3070 has only 8gb but is a 2080Ti replacement.

Q: Questionmy grandchild like to play a game called roblox i think it called would this be able to play roblox good
Asked by lucy.
- A:Answer This would be more than plenty enough to run Roblox, actually way more than you need. You'd be wasting money spending this much money just for him to play Roblox. This is for really intensive games like Call of Duty and Cyberpunk 2077, which if your son plays mostly Roblox he sounds young, and those games are not for kids, but i cant say much because i was probably playing not the best games for me at a young age. But to each their own, so if you make the extra money and really dont care about the money you spend and just wanna see that smile on your sons face then by all means go for it. I am just informing you, that you can get a much cheaper laptop if all its being used for is Roblox. So it really depends on if he is going to be playing other more intensive games or not. If its just Roblox you could save a lot of money, and if he's worried about it being flashy with like the colorful lights and stuff there are plenty of cheaper more budget friendly laptops for easier to run games that are flashy like that. If you do get this one for him, make sure you teach him to not click on random ads and things like that when he's on the internet, or to not go to weird or sketchy websites. It'd suck to spend $1,800 for him to get viruses on it and ruin it.
