Ignore the other answer, this does have the 1TB listed by Best Buy, not the 512GB listed for the GS66-005 that the MSI site and the PDF the other reply provided. I was worried about it, but laptop came in today and confirmed it is 1TB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got mine 2 weeks ago and it does have the 1TB SSD. So I think they are doing this for Best Buy models. Weird that it still uses the same part number as the model with 512GB SSD though, they should have added something to the part number to differentiate this model.

YES it can be hooked up to a TV/Monitor or any other device used for viewing that has a HDMI input. But for the best high definition output that this baby can do.. youll want to use the ThunderBolt 3.0 port because it supports up to 3 different monitors/displays and can do 8k resolution as well. This Model has the following available connections installed: 3x SuperSpeed 10Gbps USB Type-A 1x HDMI 2.0 1x SuperSpeed 10Gbps USB Type-C 1x THUNDERBOLT 3.0 1x Killer NIC E3100 2.5Gbs EtherNet 1x Analog Headset Audio Port 1x Dedicated DC/POWER INPUT
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular model comes with a 1TB Western Digital NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD and room for another NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD to be installed. So to clear things up with peoples questions... this does not support regular 2.5 inch laptop drives/SSDs only supports 2 X NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs. Example: i currently own this laptop and have 2 Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) Solid State Drives installed . Here's the product page to the drives i have installed on this laptop to get a better idea of what specs your looking for when buying/upgrading the SSDs for this laptop. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-970-evo-plus-1tb-internal-pci-express-3-0-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-with-v-nand-technology/6324470.p?skuId=6324470 ***By the way the Samsung 970 EVOs i have installed and gave a link to..... are so far the fastest SSDs *I'VE FOUND* to use/upgrade to in this model... in case you are looking for the fastest option to use instead of the preinstalled Western Digital SSDs.. But if you're just wanting to stay with WD brand that MSI uses I recommend using these guys then : https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-wd_black-sn750-nvme-1tb-internal-pci-express-3-0-x4-solid-state-drive-for-laptops-desktops/6338995.p?skuId=6338995 WD - WD_BLACK SN750 NVMe 1TB PCIe SSD Drives have a Gaming option you can turn on or off in order to boost performance while gaming. But they don't tell you that in order to access that option and actually turn it on or off... you have to go to the WD Support Downloads Page to download the WD SSD Dashboard Application.. its not even mentioned in the paperwork that comes with the drives when you buy them either. And if your reading this and thinking about downloading the Application yourself be warned that it will not work unless you have WD SSD drives installed on your system because it scans the system every time it loads for WD SSDs that are installed or newly installed on the PC hope all this info helps.. just remember that with how fast today's technology is ever-changing/growing and how fast today's gaming systems are.. in all reality, the speed/performance increase you gain from adding or switching out the stock M.2 SSD with a self proclaimed faster product... you will NOT even notice it one bit. Unless your sitting there with a stopwatch timing your power cycles and reboot times. And have some sort of SSD bench-marking software you use.. you wont even recognize the increase lol Fact: The human brain is what processes how many FPS your eyes can "see". Meaning the average/normal persons brain can only process up to 30fps unless their eyes have been trained/taught to "see" more frames a second.. well their brains have learned how to process more frames a second than most/average humans can. Gamers can process more frames than just about anyone can because the better the gamer is because they're brains are processing frames faster that most meaning they will have a faster response time and quicker over all movement while in game. So that's why when people say all the time "OMG!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!!? I COULDN'T EVEN SEE THAT!" Now you know why.. Funny thing is that all of what you have just read is 100% true.. the human eye cant even determine the difference between 30fps and 200fps and higher...Even if you are an experienced gamer with the ability to process frame-rate faster than the average bear and you have wicked fast reflexes and some godlike player skills.. even you cant notice the difference in frame rates @ 30fps and up.. only the lower fps is when we notice the difference and the "choppiness" of the game-play. That's why when you see an fps option the lowest option available is always set to 30fps
