Can this run 1080p as well or strictly 1440p? null

You can set resolution to whatever you want. But the screen will technically be 1440 hardware. 3060 had trouble with a 4k screen this one works fine with it.

Yes, of course it can handle any resolution less than its maximum specs. I routinely run 1080p and 720p videos on Garmin Tacx bike trainer software.
