QuestionWhat is the brightness of QHD 240hz screen in nits ?

- Answer I think it is rated at 300 nits like the FHD panel. I have this unit and it is brighter than the FHD panel. The FHD 360Hz panel is rated at 300 nits however a review on youtube says it was about 288 nits when tested. I originally got the FHD unit and did not like the panel. I have a 5yr old calibrated 400 nit UHD Alienware 17m R3 and it is rated at 400 nit. My normal brightness with Windows 10 is at 40 in a well lit room and the FHD MSI is at 80 for the same brightness in the same room. This QHD 240Hz panel is at 51 for the same brightness. So, I am guessing from experience the QHD panel is a 400 nit panel and like the 300 nit panel is probably rating around 350-375 nit. The QHD unit for the same price as the FHD is the way to go. It's the best of both worlds, fast enough for gaming and enough resolution for photo/video work. Also, the color accuracy out of the box of these MSI panels are spot on when set to the Adobe RGB in the MSI True Color app. Unless you are into critical photo work, this panel does not need to be calibrated any further.

QuestionCan this be used as a business computer? OR Only a gaming computer?? Will it run regular programs and do everything a regular laptop does or is it specifically for gaming??

- Answer As others have said YES this is not just a gaming laptop. It will do it all. Note this is a Windows Home OS. If your business requires Windows Pro or Enterprise for their domain then no, you will need to upgrade the OS to Windows Pro or Windows Enterprise.

- Answer YES! it comes with a 1TB Gen4x4 M.2 NVMe SSD in slot 0 and a spare Gen 3x2 M.2 Gen3x4 NVMe slot that takes a full size "2280" NVMe SSD. It does not have the mounting screw for the spare slot, so make sure you acquire one with your SSD.

- Answer These haven't landed yet. With ongoing chip shortages affecting manufacture of high-end laptops, I don't think we'll see these in stock until mid-August at the earliest. Also the spec sheet says HDMI at 4k/120hz and 8k/60hz. It must be 2.1 afaik.

- Answer The QHD 240Hz is a 2K display. I have this and it is brighter than the FHD 360Hz 1080p display. The 360Hz display will give you the faster gaming frames per second if that is what you want. However, I find that a 240Hz does quite well with FPS for most games and I like the 2K sharper and brighter screen over the 360Hz display. I got the FHD 360Hz model first and returned it and waited for the QHD display to be restocked. No regrets!

- Answer You can set resolution to whatever you want. But the screen will technically be 1440 hardware. 3060 had trouble with a 4k screen this one works fine with it.

- Answer As Shannon says, it has 2 slots with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM. The fly in this ointment is the RAM slots are on the underside of the motherboard requiring the MOBO to be removed to access the RAM slots. Fortunately, this is better than others that solder the RAM on the MOBO. The Caveat is 32GB is more than most will ever require for anything, even MS Flight Simulator. As for the M.2 SSD slots, Shannon mentioned PCIe 3x4. This is the second M.2 SSD slot. This unit comes with 1GB NVMe SSD 4x4 in the main slot which is PCIe 4x4.

- Answer I found it recommended on several gaming forums that given a choice between the Samsung SSDs currently available, to purchase a 1TB or 2TB Samsung 980 PRO PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe, especially if the current $50-$80 price difference at Best Buy between the 980 Pro and the 970 EVO Plus doesn't break your bank. The 970 EVO Plus can ONLY be used in the spare Gen 3 SSD slot, while the 980 PRO -- since it's backwards compatible with Gen3 -- can be used in either of the two SSD slots this laptop features (btw, there was a forum Q&A comment that stated that this GS76 comes stock with a Western Digital SN810 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe for those interested). I also was informed that the Samsung Pro 980 version with the attached heatsink will NOT fit in either SSD slot since it is much too thick for the space available, so only the regular sized 980 Pro will fit.

- Answer Typical of thin-and-light laptops, these things get up to 95C and 60dB easy. Best to avoid anything under 1" thick and ~7lbs if you want cool and quiet.

- Answer I guess it can if you order from somewhere other than Best Buy. I find it cheaper just to get a Windows Pro license and upgrade Home to Pro than to pay the OEM for it. That's what I did and it works fine.
