This machine ain't actually capable of running VR. VR headsets require DisplayPort with a direct connection to the graphics card. The ports on this laptop are configured as follows: 2x usb type C with DisplayPort capability, connected to the CPU not GPU And a HDMI connected to the GPU. So evn tho the laptop is powerful enough, Steam VR won't let you run because of this weird configuration.
