A:Answer The difference is the stock speeds for CPU and RAM are increased over defaults due to how they modify the cooling and are allowed to tweak settings safely while still under warranty. While it isn't huge difference, it will give you about 5-8 more FPS. The hardware is essentially the same between both versions, minus cooling. If a game is running around 55FPS and you get 5-6 more with the OC version, then you have a more smooth gaming experience. You will not see a noticeable difference with a game that runs over 75FPS. It depends on the game and what resources the game takes where the "OverClock" may matter. In the end...save your money if you do save some. Its honestly not worth an extra $50-100 for an overclock, but is worth it for a "TI" version that does boost performance properly.
