- Answer Yes it does it has one. The monitor has one hdmi port, one Dvi port, and one DisplayPort port but it only comes with a hdmi. NOTE: you will NOT be able to process 144hz refresh rate with a hdmi cable only a displayport cable can. I hoped this helped P.P.S the hdmi cable's highest refresh rate is 120hz.

QuestionWhen I attempt to plug in any earbuds or headphones to the monitor, it takes a lot of pressure and only some sound comes out but it's very distorted. If I push it a little farther it sounds great but it won't stay like that without applied pressure

- Answer I wouldn’t suggest using a monitor for sound. If you are on pc, use the pcs headphone plug. If you’re on console, use the controller. It goes so on. Monitors (especially gaming) aren’t really meant for outputting sound

QuestionDoes this monitor turn off by itself when you turn off your pc or do you have to hold the button in the back

- Answer There is a setting in the monitor menu that automatically turns off the monitor if no signal is detected after around 2 minutes, so yes it will turn off after you PC is powered off. You have to manually enable this feature though.

QuestionDoes this have flicker free technology? How is it on the eyes. Anyone get eye strain after a few hours?

- Answer Not quite sure if it has flicker-free technology, most modern monitors have that feature built in. As far as eye strain I haven't felt anything personally, this monitor is very easy on the eyes especially for those working for long hours at a time. Hope that helps.

- Answer Locate the litte joystick at the back of the monitor. Move the joystick to the left, the menu screen should appear. Now cycle down to select image, now on the right you should see brightness, contrast, color temp, gamma. Select brightness by pushing left and press the joystick whiles brightness is highlighted to adjust the brightness.

- Answer Yes, any VESA mount should work within those standards. I would suggest a higher quality mount. The one you picked out will scratch your desk and possibly chip away with the lack of padding.

- Answer No, unfortunately it does not come with the dp cable. It does come with the hdmi cable, and I was able to go up to 120hz like mentioned. I will be ordering a dp cable this week.

QuestionHubby is building a custom desk for our son with an upper shelf where the monitor will sit. How wide should the shelf be so that the monitor base legs don’t hang off? Thanks!

- Answer Personally you would want the monitor to be eye level instead of above eye level. I say that because your son neck will be at an awkward angle that will be a strain on his neck over time. Alternative purchases will be an L- shape computer desk with shelves in Amazon that will be future proof ready. Meaning if your son wanted to add another monitor or two plus a place for consoles or gaming pc.
