The CPU is 12th gen. It runs pretty cool and quiet for me, and the display looks amazing for 1080p
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never had thermals go above 72 degrees Celsius on either the CPU or GPU. The caveat to that is that the fans are quite loud and run at over 5,000 rpm. The GPU runs a bit cooler than the CPU, probably because this generation of Intel processors are designed to draw as much power as safely can. The display is great, though it's hard to say what "bright enough" is, as it depends on the environment one typically will use this in. I've never had a time when I couldn't see the image on the monitor, myself. Also, on mine, (though I understand this can vary from machine to machine) there is no backlight bleeding when the screen is showing all black.
