I have a 75" flat panel TV mounted weighing about 108 lbs. When mounted on the cart, it is very stable, although if someone literally tackled the cart it could possible tip over. The wheels all have locks on them, and also assists in keeping the cart stable from minor bumps. Keep in mind as the monitor goes higher, stability will decrease. I currently have this tv positioned about mid-point in max height capability for the cart.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This stand is very sturdy. We have moved it inside the house during monsoon season and we had to tilt it to lift it over the threshold into the house and it never felt like it was going to tip over. The base is heavy and well built.

The MTMA80PL stand would not easily tip over, however if it was pushed in an unsafe manner there could be the possibility of it tipping.
