QuestionHello, I would like to ask how the rear camera is mounted. I have a SUV and Pickup Truck. I do not see from the pictures how it mounts to view out the back window and how it is to be wired into the front unit. Can you give me more information, please.

QuestionDoes this mean there is an internal or external battery that can be used instead of using car battery? If not, how does one ‘hard wire’ a dash cam if needed to be recording even when parked for extended periods of time? Does Best Buy install this way?

- Answer The dash cam is powered through the car's cigarette power port and must be plugged in at all times in order to keep recording. A dash cam is not meant to be charged then used. Hardwiring in a dash cam is completely optional and is up to the end user. If you would like continuous recording the dash cam would need to be hardwired in professionally or you can use a OBD II power cable to power your dash cam.
