QuestionI had my mechanic hardwire my dashcam to a fuse. When I start my car, I can't tell if the camera is turning on or not - there's no picture unless I push a button. It stays on for a minute or so and then goes black. Is this normal? Is it working?

- Answer Hi RebMil, It sounds like the motion detection mode is turned on, with this feature there is a Screensaver tied into the feature so after a certain amount of time passes the screen will go blank but the dashcam will still be recording in the background. - Answer Hi Dimples, The dashcam does have the ability to record while the vehicle is parked you just need to either hardwire the dascham to your vehicle or power it using a power bank. You can achieve this by either hardwiring the dashcam to your vehicle or power it using a power bank when you leave the vehicle.
