  • QuestionIf you cut the light strip on the wrong end, is there a connector available to reattach the strip?

    • Answer Hello and thank you for being keen about our 4D Screen Mirror LIghtstrip Kit. You can trim this Lightstrip to a shorter length along any of the indicated cut lines so that it better suits your needs. But keep in mind that any portion of the Lightstrip that is trimmed off cannot be reattached. This Lightstrip is non-extendable, so you cannot connect additional pieces to extend the length.   • QuestionWhat does screen mirror mean?

    • Answer There's a tiny camera that captures the images and colors it sees on your screen and then adjusts the light strip on the fly to reflect those – meaning if there's hues of blue happening in a given movie scene at the top left side of the frame, then the lights will glow soft blue on the top left portion of the light strip. The photo(s) Nanoleaf provided for the Best Buy product listing give you an idea of how it works. It's pretty cool!

    • Answer There is a smaller size TV kit you can get. The light strips are able to be trimmed and should work for any tv

    • Answer Sure will. The camera calibration will be a little tougher (if you plan on using Screen Mirror mode) but it'll work.

    • Answer Yes, though it would cast light further if your TV was > than 1" away from the wall. That being said, if the backside of your television is curved in any way (and most TVs have curved plastic for the back) that helps with the angle of the light strip and can result in light projection that extends further beyond the screen.

  • QuestionHow is this any different than the regular LED backing lights that also react in color? The video demonstrated images that are flying off the screen in 3D and/or 4D...are those types of eyewear needed?
