“Did NECA remove the cigar from the set? I received my order and it’s nowhere to be found within the box, even though it’s pictured. I watched several unboxings on YouTube, and no one showed a cigar in the box. What gives?”

Disney. They made Super7 remove any smoking or cigarette type accessories with their Simpsons line too. That's why the cigar got axed.
