There are 3 different ways you can make calls using your Nest speaker/display: Duo calling, Google-supported calls and Carrier calling. Availability varies by country. - With Duo calling, speakers and displays can make and receive video or voice calls to anyone who has a Duo account. - Google-supported calling allows you to make audio calls to mobile, landline, and business phone numbers at no additional cost. - With carrier calling, you can link your speaker or display with your call provider's mobile or landline phone plan. This allows you to make calls to anyone with a phone number available in your call provider's plan. Keep in mind that since the Nest Hub does not have a built-in camera, you can see the person you're calling, but they can only hear you on their end.
