“Will the alarm work if there is no internet connection?”

• So it the alarm will go off even if no WiFi at the time. How about power?? If there is a temporary power failure at the time of the alarm??

• Depends on the type of alarm I think. But most features do need an internet connection.

• Your Nest Hub (2nd gen) can set general alarms, play your favorite music, or choose a character as an alarm with just your voice. Alarms will sound for 10 minutes if not stopped or snoozed. However, If your Nest Hub isn't connected to Wi-Fi at the time of the media alarm, a general alarm will sound instead.
