Q: QuestionIs this WiFi 6? I’m on Xfinity. I have 3 Of their WiFi “pods” to extend my WiFi signal. I have a Google Nest Hub with 2 satellite speakers and a Nest doorbell. I intend to add cameras. If it is not Wifi 6, 802.11ac, when will Google come out with one?

• A:Answer Yes, specifically on the node. The main marshmallow-looking router does not, but the extender node does have a built-in microphone and speaker to be used as a Google Assistant device. That functionality can be switched off by a physical switch on the node.

It automatically chooses the band that gives you the best Wi-Fi signal. You can try to perform a power cycle; disconnect both your modem and Nest Wifi router, leave them unplugged for 5 minutes, make sure that the modem and Nest Wifi lights turn off completely before plugging them back in. Some modems have backup battery packs, you will need to disconnect battery packs. Plug the modem and Nest Wifi router back to the power source and allow them to turn on fully, then connect the router to the modem via the WAN port with an Ethernet cable. If power cycling doesn't work, you can try a factory reset.
