Q: QuestionMultiple ethernet portsWe have a room in our house that the wifi doesn't reach -- but there's an ethernet jack that's hardwired to that room so we have internet access. Kids want to use an xbox, computer and laptop through the ethernet jack without having to move the cable from xbox to computer, etc. Are there splitters that can be used for this purpose? I can only find the "desktop switch" that requires a connection to a router (that won't reach from that room). Thanks for any help!

- A:Answer If you have an Ethernet port you are connected to your router. You can get a cheap switch that will turn that one port into 4 or 8.i

Q: QuestionIs this plug and play?
Asked by Sum.
- A:Answer This in an unmanaged device. Setup is simple, you plug in one active Ethernet line and you can plug in up to seven Ethernet devices. They will show up on your network as soon as you plug them into the switch.
