• It's a short one, about 2 feet. The cable that came with my package also didn't support gigabit speeds, so you would need to buy a separate cable with all the wire pairs.

• The cable in the box is pretty short maybe 4 ft at the most. It's in there to connect your router to your modem.... Which is generally nearby.
