“I am hoping to get internet service with this router. Is there any configuring that needs to be done with the modem from service provider?”

• If you're getting service that's 100mbs or higher, steer clear of this product! The packaging is very very misleading! You won't get anything above 90-95mbs over Wi-Fi. It's NOT a gigabit router.

• Yes. I had mine installed by the service provider and even with a professional, there were some "glitches" he had to solve while in touch with "home base". You might call your provider and see what they have to say. The router itself works fine.
