“Is this router Compatible with a Spectrum Modem ???..........I recently opened an account with spectrum the Internet service only $29.99 plan with up 50mbps. Was recommended not to get their router but to purchased at Best Buy. Please advise.”

recommend to get Spectrum's router. Sagecomm or newer - great coverage and speed. If you buy your own, service from spectrum will be an issue.
