A:AnswerIt would depend on where your router is located in relation to your other devices, How many devices you are running at one time, and your internet speed. I have a roku and the same Netgear router and they run fine.
A:AnswerNot sure about the roku but it works great with my samsung smart tv in the living room, the firestick in my master bedroom, ps4 in my sons room and my alexa in the kitchen and a few phones and ipads connected to it without any problems. So im sure it should be fine with the roku.

Top line bottom line you need an internet service and the router enhances said service.
