The signal at your school cuts in and out? That's terrible. There are 2 things you must check out... first, is your tablet or laptop creating this problem to begin with? Like, whether we want them or not, viruses will hang up your unit... absolutely. And then, you should ask the computer office why this is happening... that's their domain and they should definately have an answer for that. Why should you spend any money at all? It doesn't sound right to me.. Show them the problem, ie bring your laptop or tablet and let them / him see it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should get the best range possible when using remote setup but your environment would require experienced RF guy to determine if you are in a null, if router runs out of bandwidth, distance to router/access point, or other stuff too weird to mention (micowave oven close by for instance). I used to do that as part of my early career.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on a few factors. Does the school have an AC router? Where are you in respect to the router? Ie:how far, how many walls, other electronic devices. All of these affect how well the Wi-Fi will work. If there are many walls and/or devices it can cause interference and let the signal strength. If you did decide to try it, you can try different positions to possibly get a better signal. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will likely not improve your signal reception, just your speed given a strong signal.
