- Answer I have done the samething you have. the connection is great! The connection is just like an ethernet cable is pluged in. I run everthing wirelessly and my desktop runs online with the AC1200 perfectly. Ruben

- Answer NO, this is just a WiFi adapter for a computer. That's it. If you want "AP" mode, you would have to buy a router that supports "AP" mode. Simple as that

QuestionI just bought my first gaming pc and it is on the second floor of my house. My router is downstairs and the signal for my 2g is 3/5 bars, the 5g runs at 1/5 bars. Would this work?
