• Your Internet will go as fast as it tops at. Having a better router/modem allows the connection to be smoother but will only top out at your provider's speed. Hope this helps.

• This modem router only works with whatever download speed your internet company provides. It is not a wifi booster. You may want to look into getting a booster. I suggest talking to a geek squad tech at Best Buy.
