- Answer I think so. I bought this because with three laptops, two smart TV's streaming and my son gaming I would sometimes lose WiFi connection now that I'm forced to work from home. Our house is 2-story and over 2000 sq ft with my motem/router upstairs in the center of the house. Since installing I haven't lost connection or my TV downstairs isn't left spinning trying to acquire the wifi signal.

QuestionCan I connect a PC to this thing? I have a PC with no wireless card that I need to set up in my basement. I don't want to run an ethernet cable. Can I plug a cable into this and run it to the PC and have internet on it?

QuestionI have 100 mbps service through Century Link. When I connect to the network through the Netgear AC750 called Abby5GEXT, my speed does not exceed 20 and sometimes only single digit. Any ideas what is causing this? Is this common? Thank you, Don

- Answer You’ll use the same password as your existing network, but with the extender you’ll see it adds another couple of choices with EXT on the end of them. For example..before you might have NETGEAR1 and now you might see NETGEAR1 and also NETGEAR1EXT2G or NETGEAR1EXT5G but you’ll probably see different signal strengths on each, but they will use your same password to join..hope this helps out!

- Answer If there is no appliances between the extender and the router is should definitely help. B4 I got a different router, I had a dialup one and the extender help. I also had the same problem as you with my Fire-stick, cell phones and iPads. With a new router, it’s even better. Hope this helps
