No. xfinity is Comcast. Comcast is cable internet. This is for ADSL which is telephone line based. If the plug in your wall for internet is a telephone jack, it is ADSL. If your internet provider is not a "telephone" company (ATT, Windstream, Verizon) then it is probably not ADSL. Here is a list of approved devices for Comcast. http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will not. It will work for your AT&T DSL High Speed connection but NOT for your AT&T Xfinity service. I bought mine when I had high speed DSL (6MBs) but when I upgraded I couldn't use this modem for Xfinity. I got the Xfinity internet ONLY not the Xfinity TV package, but it didn't matter, I still couldn't use this modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been advised that the ADSL2+ is compatible with most internet servers. Your internet server folk can tell you for sure and Netgear can also. It might takes some special configurations with the help of Netgear and you may have to wait 15-20 minutes to get to speak with a tech specialist, but if you get the gentleman who spent over an hour helping me configure this modem plus an n900 router, a second PC and three iPads, the wait will be insignificant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.works with century link and infinity
