Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First I connected the modem directly to the computer with an ethernet cable. That got me onto the internet hard-wired. I then called up the website in the instructions to enter my username and password for my isp. After that, I could disconnect the hard wire, and it should find your wireless router to connect to.

You will need to turn off the firewall and have the modem go into bridge modem before plugging in the router to the modem. This is advanced so i recommend getting all the info you need for your router to sign in. Also read up on how to factory reset your modem as that may be needed to be able to get access to your modem after bridging has started. To access the modem after bridging has been turned on, you will need to give your computer a TCP/IP address different than the bridged modem as it will stop acting as a dhcp server. You wont neccessarly need access to it so dont change the ip on your computer unless you obsolutly have to. The router knows how to use bridged modems but you need to know what to tell your router, research this carefully
