Apple router, look.......This beut can act as a docile modem. You can mute all routing functions and simply plug whatever router you want. I had setup a router twice into this device. First time an older cisco, then a newer dlink. In both cases, it took about 4 mins to setup.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It works with ADSL Service but I don't believe it will work with AT&T U-Verse... If using it with another router, you may have to change the default IP setting of your existing router in order to get it to work. That's what finally worked for me. I wouldn't waste your time with Netgear customer support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, DSL modem works with AT&T DSL service. I am unfamilure with Apple routers but you could research your router for the IP address you use to get into it. Also research the IP address you use to get directly into your DSL modem. You will need extensive research on bridging the modem so the router can sign into the internet itself. This is very advanced so make sure you have info on how to factory reset your modem before making this kind of modification. If done wrong, you will not have internet access until factory resetting
