This will probably work for you. I'm using this router with Spectrum (Time Warner) 100 Mbps using my own Arris SB6141 modem (DOCSIS 3.0) and it works great. This is in a 1800 sq ft single-story house built in the 70s. I get a good strong connection from every room for 2.4ghz, although the back of the house gets a weak 5ghz but the router is on the outside wall on one side of the house rather than in the middle of things so it's going through several walls.
