There are a few ways to boost wifi signal. You can get access points or a simple wifi booster. Access points can be created by routers you may have stopped using but that is more advanced.
I would recommend:

Since you do not have wiring for it on the 2nd or 3rd floor you will connect via wireless and it would act as a wireless repeater. The downside of this is that they will be half as slow as the connection (for each repeater in a line you lose half the speed/data transmission). I would recommend that you get a single wireless repeater and try to centralize it on your 2nd floor and you should have decent enough coverage to handle the whole house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they do sell a signal repeater but the more times you repeat the signal the slower your connection speed will get. If the phones are wifi enabled then I would recommend attempting to move the unit to the center of the house and seeing if that helps before purchasing a range extender. If these phones hook in through Ethernet I would recommend a power-line-Ethernet networking system and just run it from your router to the units upstairs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you could relocate your Wireless Router to the second floor you may be able to cover your whole house. If you must use repeaters, I would instead suggest running CAT-5 (or using Ethernet-over-Power adapters) to additional Access Points. I don't recommend Air-to-Air repeaters (traffic jammers!), specially if your family's data transfer requirements are high (simultaneous streaming or data transfers).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to use a repeater. If you shop at Best Buy, they can show you what to buy and how to set it up so you get reliable connection throughout your home. There may be some materials in the floor or walls that are blocking the signals from reaching the third floor. I have the same problem in my home. But what I did was wire the bottom floor where the problem was and problem solved. In your case if you still want to use wireless, then a repeater is the way to go.
