I would leave it on if I were you, especially if you use this several times a week via your computer, or everyday via your Cable TV subscription.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually, you should leave the router ON all the time. Make sure you secured your wireless network (WLAN) with a strong password. If you must turn it off when the computer is shutdown, you can purchase a surge protector with a Master Outlet. Then, plug in the Computer in the Master Outlet and the Netgear N450 in one of the Slave Outlets. Just be advised that it may not work with laptops, only with Desktops.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one and there's no power button that I can find. I leave mine on 24/7 anyways and it never seems to be a problem. If you really want to power it off you could always unplug it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Majority of modems and/or routers do not have a off switch. If you are looking to save power, plug the units into their own power strip. That will give you 1 single switch to turn them off. This does not hurt them and is also convieniant if you need to restart the internet due to connection getting bad. When doing restarts in this manner, i recommend leaving it off for 5-20mins. Leaving it off longer is good too but unneccessary unless trouble shooting.
