• Yes it is compatible with Comcast. Tell customer service that this model is Netgear CG3000DV2 and not Netgear 450. It should show that model number on the box.

• Yes, this is compatible with Xfinity Comcast. They recently did an upgrade and if you reset your modem/router it is much faster than before.

• It is compatible BUT I have had recurring problems with it requiring many reboots. The Netgear tech support organization was of no help but tried to sell me remote maintenance whereas the Geek Squad confirmed that the problem seemed to be hardware even though Netgear said it was "settings" and couldn't offer any warranty replacement. I am currently negotiating with Best Buy for their assistance in resolving this warranty issue. Based on Netgear's lack of assistance I would NOT recommend any Netgear product.
