This just a router for your Wi-Fi you would have to purchase a modem that is D.O.C.I.S. 3.0 Netgear has one Model: CM400-100NAS SKU: 8860013 NETGEAR - Ethernet DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem - Black. So its not so much that the router has to be compatible its more the modem has to be compatible. NETGEAR - Ethernet DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem - BLack
