Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know this is old, but for future reference, it may not be the best option. The 2.4Ghz connection on these Netgear extenders seem to perform a lot less than the 5Ghz. I have noticed my 2.4GHz connections to work a lot more slower than if being directly connected to the router. This may perhaps be due to interfering networks since usually most routers by default use similar channels. I cannot change my channel for specific and unique reasons, so perhaps your experience may vary. But if it disconnects on you (which it may or may not do so frequently), it won't be fun. This is all thanks to the PS4 not having 5GHz WiFi frequency support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will handle it however with streaming I have noticed some lag. We are wifi only and extended to the max. Even if you are hardwired to this extender you still have the issue of the network you are extending and not having this item hardwired to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 5 gaming systems hooked up to this extender, had zero problems while gaming. Works even better with an ether net cable,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes we steam xbox one and Netflix on other tvs with no issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My house (before getting this product) had 3 XBOXs, 1 PS4, several computers and smart TVs connected to my wifi. As I live with college roommates. My down was maybe 12 and up was about 2. I got this range extender put near my room and the other rooms with the PS4s and the XBONEs. I had a down of about 100 and an up of about 7 on its peak performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will depend on the router that you are connecting it to. I have an ASUS AC-2400 Router paired with this AC1900 Nighthawk and I have no problem. This most certainly should be able to handle 2 PS4's simultaneously if you are provided 50Mbps down and 10Mbps up from Time Warner. I am currently provided 30Mbps from Time Warner and my speed test was 37.16Mbps with a ping of 17. That's using my Extender. I also did a speed test using a desktop wired directly to the router and it is the same speed give or take a few MBps, but nearly no loss in connection speed for a long travel distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router handle gigabit ports so your bottle neck will be from router to internet ( twc modem ) Im pretty sure it can handle both but if you can increase bandwidth will be better performance
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Nighthawk is an impressive name. The Asus AC 3100 is the route to go.. it handles my PS4 plus all my streaming tv channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
