• The device simply rebroadcasts your existing signal and does not depend on operating system. So long as your device that you want to connect to the internet has a working wireless card and the extender can connect to you existing wireless connection you should have no problems.

• You connect to the router with any computer or OS. I am running Ubuntu, LInux-Mint, Window 7, 8, 10. I just tell it what to connect to. Eiither 2.4G or 5G on my router or the same on the extender.
