A:Answer Yes it will work, HOWEVER, (strong however, note the caps ;p) Netgear has yet to take advantage of the rise in popularity of Linux distributions. What this means is that they do not offer software for linux based systems. This doesn't mean you cant use the products, but it may be exceedingly difficult and a headache to make it work. For the most part you can do without the software, its junk imo. But you have to do something for a work around for a driver. Since you are working with linux already, I'll assume you are familiar with what that is and what that involves as well as how to look around the linux community for solutions . Most likely someone has already compiled a driver for this device or a closely related device that will work
